MexCare Dialysis gave patient a second chance to a better life

Blanca Chavez like many others came to the U.S looking for a better life for her and her child. She lived in Atlanta, GA for 11 years working in a fast food restaurant. She didn’t have any type of healthcare coverage. She was hospitalized for renal failure. She where she needed to be dialyzed three times a week. She was discharged after two weeks and needed to come back to the emergency room department in order to be dialyzed. The hospital contacted MexCare to find a home and a permanent solution for this patient.

She was transfer back to her hometown close to her family were she has been getting dialysis and treatment work to get a kidney transplant.
